Ryan M. Carrick, PhD, MHS, OTR/L earned his Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia and a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Education from Auburn University. His clinical expertise is within the home health, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and acute care hospital settings. He has additional specialty training in functional neurorehabilitation with stroke recovery and Parkinson’s disease, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, vestibular rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations, low vision, skin integrity and healing, amputations, and memory care. His other research focus areas are safe aging, interdisciplinary care, and client rapport building. Ryan has a passion for life-long learning, serving, pursuing truth, demonstrating excellence, practical-problem solving, being outdoors and maximizing the potential in others.
